just wondering whether the duncan designed p90s can do well in play punk like green day stuff...
cos i might be gettin the squier vintage tele custom...
and im lookin forward to the duncan designed p90s on it

Bille joe armstrong uses a stacked P90 which is the H90... hotter than a usual P90..

however, you don't need P90s to sound like him or whatnot. any pickups can play any music. it's whether how you play it...

And keep in mind, the more straight up punk that BJ used to play was more on a beat up Fernandas with a Humbucker on the bridge. The old glory days stuff. He sounds cool on a vintage P90 I must add.
