hey there... i've got new SD Alnicos which i plan to use for leads and i'm just wondering whether where i place my p.u.s will affect the sound... i've been told whether i put the on the bridge or neck doesn't matter but i'm not too sure...

blur, wrong forum la. And you bought pickups not knowing which pickup you want to replace?

For leads, it's preference. Some like to play lead on the neck, some like to play lead on the bridge, some use both depending on song. It depends on what you do when you play the guitar. If you don't know, just change the pickup you use the most, or wait till you know.
