yes any regulated adaptor (i.e. Boss PSA, OneSpot, PP2+, FuelTank etc) would do. the conversion to a higher voltage is internal.
hum and noise are okay in your books?? you're an easily satisfied customer!
no, it won't harm your pedal.
i mean at least my pedal is still alive, i can search for alternative to solve the hum
if the pedal is dead, then it's gonner, game over![]()
WARNING: I have repaired quite a handful damaged pedals due to the above power supply this year alone.
The culprit puts out 1700mA (1.7Amp) without the use of a transformer or a protection fuse. If there were to be a sudden surge on the 240VAC supply, where is all that energy gonna go?
I got a question for you whitey....why do we bother with 300 to 400VDC in a tube?Anyways, what's the difference whether a pedal works on an 18v or 9v ah?
Then what about pedals like the MI Audio TZOD which is 18v, but runs at 9v too? Does it internally up the power?
Fuse in the plug is 13AMP ... can deep fry chicken!
You which school ha ?![]()
