Wow, malmsteen...
BTW Paulo, what yamaha guitar were u using b4? what's your opinion on yamaha guitars?

i'm a hardcore Ritchie Blackmore disciple, yngwie came later hehe
anyway - yamaha guitars - they r ok man - got a 92' white RG 612 floyd [ in resurrection mode] n Pacifica which i won in 91' [used for Low B tuning] - all dimarzio equipped - been serving me well too. If u want to hear various Yamaha guitars burning fretboards - check out the Asian Beat Finals this Saturday - all the guitarist will be wielding Yamaha axes. :)

Chimaera's Swamp Ash Special.

i'm fairly familiar with the swamp ash special, read about it way back in 1996... i was interested in this guitar because it features a pair of McCarty humbuckers & an interestingly reversed Duncan V-Rails. unlike its other siblings, the swamp ash special has a maple fretboard, something i fancy... however, the McCarty debuted subsequently & i just have to get it... 8)

it was between a custom 22 or this one. How i wish i can buy both but i settled on this one instead. Hehehe. Subversion send a pic of ur baby mccarty... hehe

Bruce: sweeeet looking burny u got there MrE! how much is it? wat wood is it made of? love the looks of it man

I got my burny for 620 from luther, it's mahogany with maple top. Yeah i just love the custom LP look, too bad they didn't have white.... now if only i could afford the REAL thing :?

today i saw a vintage Burny LP custom at Guitar Connection, like mine, but arctic white! 700... but the gold parts quite tarnished.

ChanMin: ishibashi is safe.. many of my friends have ordered with no problems.

Thanks man, i really needed to hear that. At least it is a real alternative to getting a Fender from swee lee

Hey that's really unique, especially the pickups. How does it sound and play? How much did you get it for?
