I have no idea wot you call it. But taking a wild guess, I'd say it would be along the lines of Indie or Alternative.

The Shins and Tiny Vipers. My current infatuations.

And BLUES! Who can forget about that? I love Stevie Ray Vaughan.

well posted in another thread, but yeah i think psychobilly music is a genre that is slowly breaking ground. With that would be Art Metal that's getting bigger, Post-Metal too, Grime is starting to grow and Neofolk.

That's what's happening is most scenes in the world and great genres to explore out of metal, hardcore, punk, ska, Thrash, Rap, alt rock and blues.

old school metal fan here!! haha. nothing beats the forefathers of heavy/thrash metal ( look at my nick) Some present time bands which i really like are Lamb of God and Children Of Bodom, good shit man \m/

i really like progressive stuff, Dream theater vs Symphony X has always been a constant battle in this genre for me.

i listen to this particular band who's genre its christian metalcore.the devil wears prada.is that apart from metal plus hardcore?hm.im just listening to them not following their practices.no offence cos i'm a muslim. =)

Recently, I've been listening to Artists. Not bands (I still do though).
Checking out people like Raine Maida, Butch Walker... Can't remember the rest.
I like powerpop, shoegaze... those kind of genres. I also like some electronica - the synths and all. SOME.
I'm also slowly getting into J-rock. Yeah, just broadening my views.
