Hmm.
My only conclusion from all this stuff is that the 95Q will actually amplify the signal which comes from the drive pedal.. take note that the role of any drive pedal is to add gain to an existing tone.
Kinda like how the gain knob works on some tube and solid-state amps, I presume?
However, I'm not sure sure about the drop in volume.. perhaps since the wah pedal removes certain frequencies from the original signal, when the post-wah signal is processed by the drive unit that driven signal becomes much softer especially when the drive unit has an on-board EQ to boost and cut certain frequencies depending on the player.
I personally experience a slight jump in volume when used before the Daddy O, and my EQ settings on the Daddy O are pretty much bass on 3 o'clock, mids on slightly past 2 o'clock and treble on 2 o'clock.
