Orange crush amps

hmm they hav it on yamaha @ plaza sing. and also standard value at woodlands & sv guitars at peninsular basement.

i have the orange crush 15, quite a good amp for some hard rock n roll(think ac/dc and early sabbath) and blues. the overdrive pretty much feels like its alive, not lifeless and sterile. when it comes to cleans, i like the clarity of it.

but i usually play metal, and i like how it chugs. pretty good for a 15w with 8" speaker. dont rly recommend scooping too much mids on this, it gets a little thin. but the mids of this amp is quite juicy haha.

best thing is you have to go out and try it. what genre do you play anyway?

They sound pretty similar to most other solid state amps meant for practice. In all seriousness, just save $300 and get a Vox AC4TV combo from City Music. The tubes and 10 inch speaker will do wonders for you.

The Vox Pathfinder 15R is a decent practice amp if you're on a budget (they usually sell for about $100 in the Classified section).
