OM: Metallica - Blackened Intro

I dunno what song is being covered... haha... but well, here are my comments...

Hmmmm... I think your guitar is either out of tune or your intonation is out.
The first note is sharp... then from then on, your bends at 0:03-0:04 are sharp. But as the song goes on, as you play on other strings and on lower notes, the tuning is pretty okay... so its prob just intonation, or a string or 2.

Other than that... harmony parts are fine but rather soft!

At 0:25, the bend is slightly sharp...

Towards the end, the backing guitars sounded funny, like its not in sync with the lead..

Man, I think you were really excited abt covering this song.... check your bends and tuning/intonation, then give it a 2nd shot... I know you can do much better. ;)

actually, i think it sounds surprisingly like the original. it sounds very good.
the original is backwards tho. i have a clip of how the orginal goes forward.. very interesting

Good work! Good cover of my favourite piece of backwards guitar ever.
Oh wait, that's the only piece of backward guitar I know.

Dan, the bend at 0:25 is meant to be like that.

hey dude thats pretty cool. i just think the guitar is abit dominating of the background soud. i dont know what it is but yeah good stuff

Hmm? The background of the original is rather faint actually.. Hehe thanks to all for the wonderful comments! I played this the right way around FYI. Not the other way around and reversed :D

Can't play the rest of the song la penguin. No stamina, no backing track, etc..

yah, but I mean the guitar part that kirk plays, the actual notes, in the original they sound apart, yours sound like 2 seperate things, which they probably are, but yeah i think your guitar is too loud over the top of the weird sound..btw what makes that sound?>

Oh. Kirk had this ambience reverb effect which I *tried* to mimic.. I don't know how he did it. What weird sound anyway?
