thanks man, i appreciate ur advice. will try expanded on my usage of scalar and modal playing. always tried, but always went back to the basics. hahaa.
hahaha same........the best way to get a good solo is really to be able to hear it in your head.....but i think if you were to learn a couple more hendrix songs it would not be a problem......hendrix's songs and solos are like so melodical.....it doesn't use a single note or bend to express but rather the entire 9th chord or what......and his songs are all written in that style.....if you were to learn it i'm sure it wouldn't be a problem anymore
thats true, but that bad habit i have it i tend to like to jst run out the solo without preparation. its bad, but i guess its due to laziness of not wanting to learn other's solos. hah.
think of it as improvisation man......that's a good thing......being spontaneous and able to jam out solos is a good thing......i have that habit too haha....if you think it's bad then find a day to seat down with hendrix and ask if he sits down and learns other people's solos...... ..
he actually learns the different blues players styles instead of their solos
nice intro echo. a touch too loud tho the echo. maybe add some light reverb on the intro to make it sound more spacey and smooth.
i prefer the 2nd lead tone.
