sounds like a girl singin
Yea, it does sounds like a girl. the vibrato on the vocals, during the chorus gets kinda freaky for me.

love some of the improvisation on the riffs, but didnt like the solo at all. sorry.

orcfiend, the song is overall ok. clean recording. bass sounds nice and full.

somehow if you bring down the bass guitar a little and up the acoustic guitar a bit will be better.

also, the vocal need to be more forward. could be the mic you are using. what mic are you using btw?

the vocal level is fluctuating. it is like you keep moving around the mic.

yea i the singing sounds quite awkward now.. argghh.. lol was just a quick semi serious jam... its alright that u dont like the solo, it is very weird . i guess i was trying to introduce some randomness into the song.. i do however really love the original solo by john frusciante. he is really a great guitarist. i love his style

..

nice harmonization on vocals... nice smooth vocals, but like above, you seem to be moving around he mic a lot

the guitars do not seem to complement each other. it sounds like the guitarist seems indecisive in his phrasing and notes in both the acoustic and electric. it sounds clashed.

..

one more pt:

it doesn't matter whether you're playing the most difficult piece or just one note, as long as you hear what's inside your head, feel what's inside your heart, and somehow get your fingers to press the right notes and transmit those same thoughts n feelings to your audience, that's where the Real Music is. :)

nice... although the starting bass can be better. The singing sounds very american haha... nice man..

thx, ya i do agree that the bass could be well improved not only at the beginning but throughout the whole song.. was havin problems iwth the recordin software and i had no metronome with me (you can hear the tempo fluctuations..) and also note the cockups all throughout the recording (too long never play liao.)

thx. but didnt you think that the bass was too aggressive ? i thought it was..didn't think andrew would play a kinda "relaxed feel" guitar. liked the panning solo tho pops to andrew for that.

It was not bad at all, in fact given that its 3 am in the morning. But if its 3pm in the afternoon Im sure it would be a fantastic sounds.

ah ur bass playign was great man. it added to the randomness and "liveliness" of the jam.. notice i called it a "jam" rather than a "song". :o ;)
