OM: Broken - slow rock piece

Solo at the end reminds me of Bon Jovi feel in the song"Always"

Needs a bit more reverb on the vocal I feel. Cos the vocal now a bit too upfront, the guitar gets pushed too much into the background.

But I'm sure it'll sound good live.

hey all; thanks for the listen!

Colarndo - good one. i felt the same way but i can't do anything as this track was mastered for me by a friend in australia. didn't want to disturb him again la. and i can't master it properly, cos i got no equipment for it. shucks. will note the vocals next time. might not have time anymore to redo this track though i would love to record it again.

hi stars_jy - solo done by my friend. not me. will let him know its appreciated. heh. recorded it at home. through a pod xt live and some drum loops. heh.

hi spatans - as above, will redo this track if got time. thanks for the suggestions on the ending. variety is something i gotta work on. being a one man band - u tend to run out of ideas real fast...sigh..

ic.. cool.. im usin podxt too.. hey.. how did u program the drums?? using wad?? i wanna be like u.. able to record like a full song at home like tt..

no drum programming for me. too lazy really. using sonar 3 pe. minor tweaks done in steinberg's wavelabs 4. with several plugins, some original, some 'friendly'...keke. drums were loops i ordered from US. do intend to go into drum prgramming soon, most prob try out the DFH series. for starters, you can download some free ones at natural studio and betamonkeymusic.com. think its nskit.com or something...
enjoy recording! post up your stuff when you're ready! cheers
