eh james i tot i see ur floor tom got wrinkles eh....

anyways little 0.02 here...

I've noticed that the lower range tama series ie: stagestar/swingstar etc. sings very2 badly with double ply heads "pinstripes" etc...

i've paired my 10" with a pinstriple clear batter over genera reso. it's definately a bad combi as the genera reso is not really good at doing (bad rating) and the pinstripe is really too thick to bring out any singing quality out from the tom. so generally the tone cuts out very quickly....

but it the pinstripe/ambass clear combi works well with my floor tom. maybe i suggest remo ambass cotaed/clear on top and bottom... it'll sing well. :D

and btw, ur pedals looking fly ah james... ahahahaha.

Wah good eyes ar marc. Ya it was wrinkled cos i was retuning everything at that moment but fingers itchy go take picture hahaha.

Ya i kinda agree with you that the pinstripe doesnt really do good with my 10" ,really dampens the tone ar..

It's been awhile since I've updated the kit. Has quite a few additions to it. Enjoy.

yeap i second that the raw bell is fcukin awesome... the raw bell cuts through really2 well.... tho it might not really be a versatile ride it really goes well with the stuff tt i usually like to play. :D great for live settings tho i've nvr bring it out but heard good reviews abt it... :D

go for it man if the ride suits u well.

Yeah starclassic, if you want a ride with super defined stick sound with little or no overtones, this is the ride for you. The sticking is totally kick-ass, dry and dark sound.

However, it doesnt do well for jazz, no wash or overtones as I wish it would have. But for pop, rock, this ride should cut it. The bell again is loud and cutting like maq have said.

Hmm.... what i heard from the sabian sound samples in their website it really suited my taste. jazz is my other favorite genre aside from metal, and after i compared it with the 20" HH jazz ride, i can really tell the difference of the feel, then again its only recording samples...:???:

want to get a 16" floor tom but dunno find where ): Call sweelee also they say they don't sell individual tom-tom's (gee that's funny.)

Those Sabians are an eyesore. Quick quick go get the K Customs! (:

Your A Custom looks a bit hard to reach leh btw.

I've got a 16", but I'm thinking of converting it to a BD but if I change my mind I'll let you know.

Aiyah twistedjoker knows what I mean.

Not implying them Sabians are lousy/ugly or anything.

Chill.
