put on some new skins and a crash... and there u go!
nice kit though. i guess its 12, 13, 16 and 22 rite? its a steel snare isnt it?
nice cymbals.... how do they sound?

hmm , they sound quite sweet haha ,
i'll save up and will change skins next year ah , just bought kit , dont really have much money now

danial, my 2 cents, never play the drums when they come at ur house as they are factory tuned. they practically used a drill and turned the heads.

take it off, re-tune ur whole set. Remember to press on the heads yeah. good luck:d..

my house at tampines, anything u just get to me lah i can help u tune. haha but u can't get good sound with those crap stock heads.

ohh i live at bedok , haha when you're free , my snare and toms has excessive ringing , isit due to tuning , but my bass sound quite nice though :)

some stock heads are okay lah...
but you surely need to retune... take off all the skins and re tune.
the excessive ringing might be caused by the reso head being too tight.
best thing to do is to take off all the heads and retune.

lol.. haha heads just use them till they are .. kapooof!.. nice kit though.. very sweet. haha.. loove the bass hoops man. hey dan anything just ask me on msn ok. so sorry was busy.. haha.. and the MOUSE PADS ROCK ON DUDE! though move them up a tiny weeenie bit.. obstructs your playing i feel.

hahahaha, i play when my parents not around lah.
but the thing is, the difference in the Lazer toms and the carlos toms are that the lazer toms are very short and sharp due to the depth.
They create a damn cool difference in the sound between the carlos and lazer.
Simply, FANTASTIC!

yeah, of course, i've wrongly hammered the 302 crash before.
Thats why i turned it into a china. HAHA.
Hammered Chinas are always very nice and thrashy.
But the worse of my hammered works would be my carlos 14" hats.
I tried to produce something like Paiste sound edges.
but i hammered both hats.
The edges got too wild and the Chick of the hats were totally gone.
But! they're a great pair of closed aux hats, very washy, totally cool for metal playing. :D

hahahaha, you want or not?
the best things to hammer are ride cymbals.
From a bright and washy ride, it can be turned into a mild-dark and pronounced ride.

best is to buy the Carlos set from Music theme,
$100 for 18" ride, 16" crash, 14" hats.
The best is the crash.
When i hammered my 16" crash, it turned out to be very explosive and good for accents. Not thrashy but explosive!
I'm also currently using the 18" ride as my primary ride :supz:
