new setup/soundproofing.
Not really a studio i guess.
Note guys: i soundproofed half of the room.
The other two walls that i didn't soundproof was because it faced HDB flats which are pretty far away. So i guess the sound is bearable.
If neighbor complain, ill say i soundproof already!HEHE.
Did my best.....

@retardeddrummer wow great set up and nice soundproofing! Hope your neighbours don't complain haha... like you said if they do you just show them that you've tried and I don't think they can make much noise about it. By the way do you have any clips/recordings of yourself playing?
Mac91: haha. nahh dun have videos of myself playing.. I mean i dun wanna record ah.. i dun like playing infront of camera. or knowing someone is recording. lol. soundproofing not that great la but thanks anyway!

My new kit finally here. The Gretsch Catalina Club Jazz in 2010's new finish - Copper Sparkle!
I've yet to set it up but enjoy the pictures. It really resembles champagne sparkle (my favourite finishes)
I shipped it from overseas.
Oh btw, this kit is in bop sizes 12" 14" with an 18" kick. I got the set without the hardware, and I can attest that it's one of the best bop kits you can get for the 1k below range. It does not have the presence of a 22" kick or huge sounding toms but 18" kicks and bop sizes just do it right for me. Ok enough bullshit, enjoy!
Dude, very nice. I, personally, would've have gone for the New Classics (in bop sizes, as well) though. New Classics are very well-made - not saying the the CCs are not, but for me, I would eventually want to move on from the CC.
18"x16" kick?
Oh, and I'm interested to know how much, as well. Thanks!
I was always interested in the New Classics when they came out and they can definitely hold their ground against mid-range Renown line. However, I see myself possibly lugging the kit out for future possible performances and I wouldn wanna lug the New Classics out. I was also sold on the finish of the kit, it resembles champagne sparkle actually.
