OFFICIAL- Show us your kits thread!

Bro Frummer, we almost have the same specs so how can you say yours nothing compared to mine? Furthermore you have more sounds to play around with! Keen to know how the bell sounds but anyway I should be able to hear it first hand soon hehheh.

Hey DH thanks for the compliments! Its usually not this neat and also that I have to make it look photo friendly lol.

Jeepers: Haha thats a pretty tough one to answer man, I'm not really good at explaining the sound of the crash but I envision using it when I need a crash to be not too cutting and able to cloud the music nicely. It's lovely how it sounds! If got chance I let you play around with it and you'll understand! :-D

Mel: Yea I got that heads up from Alfe himself, and the Mr nice guy also offered to give me some tips on the hybrids when I make a trip down music lab anytime. I really appreciate it and I can't wait heh heh!

Kari: Thanks! Btw the mesh heads are the only ones that I've played on so far, although not fulfiling soundwise, they do serve well enough for me to get used to moving around the kit and overal feel. I also managed to tune it close (and loose) enough to feel (not sound) like normal heads, I hope.

Frummer, nice kit you have. My friend have the same S-1000 stand and i would say it is overweight. And if you're a gigging drummer, you will be swearing all the way when you carry the stand. heheheheh....

Do you spot any S-1000D snare stand? The shorter version of S-1000 stand. Bentley here in KL dont bring it yet and i wonder SL have already in their store.

Yeah man...the stand is really overweight! Its heavier than Spin's roadster throne!

oh ya I did spot the s1000d snare stand...the price is almost the same as the s2000's...weird

hey highflyer. man a dtxploer is better then nothing. many of us started with nothing, or are still having nothing. at least it sounds like a drum and you dun get complains from your neighbours. haha

Meow guys, I upgraded woohoo!

HighFlyer: I just bought a TD3 and to be frank, I love it! Of cos i would love to play acoustic too, but an electronic really allows you to practise any time you want to. And more over you can just blast on it without any complaints =P

kari_convention : Uhm. It's complicated...but i'm pretty much isolated from my neighbours...So. Just whack lor. My room acoustics just so happen to be pretty good, so there's some compromise here and there (= AND yes, i like the AK's <3 haha.

Only 1 complaint, and no more after that.

okiee dudes i just read the "i buy everyone cofee" thing, ahaha thats hilarious. i just think its dumb to fight here, some people are nicer or misunderstood or just need some humping. of course i cannot help with the last one unless they are hot girls, in that case i will buy u 2 coffees and some alcohol..i mean alot of alcohol

blurred : That is a 18" fast crash there, haha..

kari_convention : Hey, honestly the hats are pretty cutting, but they're good.. The crashes are kinda shimmery, but they sound abit light.

i like this guy.

he's super funny.

youshookme.

anyways, how do u guys drum?

do you have recordings?

i mean, since u have drums at home and all, i suppose with the hours u put into playing, u guys must be there huh?

any clips?

to krist: not always necessary....

some just like collecting drums,
some like playing but don't like to practise too much..
some like to practise and practise,
some buy just to put at home for display...

hahaha

for me, just looking at my drums is a pleasure..hehe, i am not much of a drummer too....
