nice kit drumsolo.. u should having more cymbals because the ratio fo your drums to cymbals.. hehehe anyway i love your hats! there was a guy selling those K/Z hats here in Soft and i wonder u're the one who get the deal? heheh..

Nike: i think the drums are Yamaha Stage Custom? weird right setup.. but if that floats ur boat..

Thanks! Trust me, I sourced around for hats after I sold away my A customs. This hats r versatile, and will cut through more than K hats cos of the Z custom below. The hats bark is fantastic. A guy selling k/z? Not me, I ordered from musician's friend. Yamaha dun bring in the K/Z anymore.

Mind sharing why you sold your AC hats? Just curious, because I'm actually thinking of buying a pair of AC hats from a friend.

Oh dun get me wrong, A customs are good for live loud music n stuff. However, I find that top is rather thick for my taste and doesn't sound as crisp as the K (thinner) as I like to do hi hat patterns. Secondly, the A customs when played loosely has this really loud bright cutting sound, will work for rock, punk and stuff like that, but IMO, I feel it gets uncontrollable at times for me. So I decided to sell it away. So give it a try and see if it is your cup of tea.

wa guys!! i MIA for quite some time man. i come back see see wow this place has changed alot.. many new peeps around yea. cool man

Cool, thanks for sharing mate. Had the impression the regular AC's were thinner actually. (did yours happen to be A Custom mediums, actually? Those are on the heavier side) I have regular K hats, so I'll be able to compare them. My 14" K hat top weighs in at approx 1122, while the 14" AC hat top averages around 900g. Yeah, I'm looking forward to mixing them. A/K or K/A

To weckish: No, mine were just regular 14" A customs. Oh I din know they were lighter compared to the K top. In any case, the sound of the K sounds crispier for my taste.

To idefine: Eh mine was about SGD 500 exclusive of shipping. Another SGD 50 to bring it in from Musicianfriend. How much did you get yours for?

Hey myner, I've been wanting to ask. Such a huge setup, I can visualise the volume that comes with it. Does the neighbours ever complain ? I also hardly see any muffling/soundproofing around the room so whats your secret ?

spin sticks. behind the drumset i have a mattress, and i usually put 2 mattresses at the door. but they look rather nasty, so i took them out during the photos. my neighbours haven't complained yet hehe..

er head wan, for 18" toms, hard to find is one thing, hard to fine the skin is another. most people use 14"x14" or 14"x12". but i find my 13"x11" to really suit my playing. for some reason, it is really full sounding.

myner don mind me asking, u got 2 bass, but the lazer bass don have pedal...how come, hehehehe, anw wat type of song u play
