Haha marc... now you know why I say its damn bloody heavy right. Summore the strap so thin... carry alr your shoulder also painful sia.

Haha alamak.Small guy like me can bring my FD's to buona vista...

marc...big tall dark and handsome *cough* man like u...should be able to carry urs no problem la...haha!!!

And so...i found an old brass snare at my attachment place...

they said its old and cheap and they don't have any use for it...so i asked whether i can take it...they agreed...

i did some research...its actually an old 1990s Artstar ES 14"x6.5" Brass snare ( equivalent of today's starclassic )...ha!

quite rusty and effed up at first...took it apart and did some cleaning and here it is...along with my snare family(note that i changed my wood hooped snare to diecasts) and lastly the kit.

Left to Right: Peace Paragon 9 ply maple with 50% offset lugs 14"x5.5",Tama Starclassic Copper 14"x5.5",Tama Artstar ES Brass 14"x6.5"

the tama artstar ES brass 14x6.5 .... i got one at one of the schools too.. together with e rest of the artstar.... good snare!

the rest of the kit's pretty nice too... at first, i found it too bulky (the biggest floor tom is like 16x18) but later i get more used to the BIG sound.... so i left it there, now i think i will move the stagestar i use there previously elsewhere...

1. 13" Zildjian A custom projection hats (Carter Beauford)
2. 8" Sabian AAX splash (borrowed from church) - waiting for my A custom
3. 16" Zildjian K custom session crash (Steve Gadd)
4. 12" Zildjian K custom dark splash
5. 14" Zildjian K custom dark crash
6. 17" Zildjian A custom crash (Carter Beauford)
7. 20" Sabian Rock ride
8: 18" Wuhan China

Pedals:
1. DW 9002 double pedals (Carter Beauford, Terry Bozzio etc)
2. DW 9500 2-leg HH stand

Percussion:
1. Remo Cowbell (in between 2 rack toms)
2. LP Aspire Bongos
3. LP Cyclops Tambourine
4. LP Jam block (High) (Blue) - Carter Beauford has the lower sounding (Red)

btw, i dont think carter beauford uses the 13" a custom hats and 17" a custom crash, at least not for now.

I rem Terry Bozzio saying to start w small kit, then when u really need it then add on. A lot of mine are just "desires n wants", not "needs". I'd rather be a fantastic drummer w a small kit than a lousy drummer w an impressive kit!

Yup, I play a little bass n guitar. My new year's resolution is to play all instruments (pop) (my Yamaha k/b DGX 620 is on the way!) for my church by the end of the year!

Actually I got mildly depressed after getting my cymbals n fulfilling my "dream kit". I dun want to be those drummers w a big kit but can't play for nuts. N i realized that even my "dream kit" can't satisfy me. Only want to expand n expand!

That is why only Jesus can truly satisfy. It's so true!

It's all cos of Him that I have meaning n direction in my life. My music path also became so much more meaningful! Praise Him!
