Official Dunlop Crybaby Wah Owner's Thread

nobody gt slash wah?igt the hendrix wah so new oni few months den saw slash wah...sian...mite wana sell...

So what if there's a slash wah and you didn't see it?

So what?

If your hendrix wah can do the job for you, why bother with the slash wah?

Hmm.

^^ Perhaps he uses the JH-1 for fender-style guitars and wants to use the slash-wah for LP-style guitars?

NAw.. but the red colour of the slash wah turns me on.. yeeeaaahhhhh.. :P

is it possible to buy the GCB-95 the one without the switch and spring loaded footboard and mod it to hav a Q-control?

Hmm.

I pretty much just traced out the design onto a piece of paper, double-side-taped the base and cut out the areas which needed to be coloured. White base-coat followed by an orange spray coat.

Hmm.

Just an update, I just DIY modded my GCB 95Q to eliminate the slight delay between the wah sound and the normal signal when the pedal is placed into neutral position.

I have to test it more extensively because in the state of my excitedness last night, after modding it I could only turn my amp to incredibly low volume.. so I have to see and verify if there is any drastic change in the wah's tonal character.

But so far so good lah.

535Q user since a year ago. Pedal chain is guitar - tuner - vol pedal - WAH - comp - octavia & distortions - modulations -reverb - delay - amp

had a GCB 95Q

guitar > wah > OD > EQ > Chorus > Delay > Amp

sucked all my tone till it sounded like paper, so I sold it for a hundred flat with box, manual and all.

got a morley, loved it. :D

niteblade:the 95Q is more versatile as u can control the Q,add gain and adjust the volume...i own one too...love it but i tink i'd prefer a morley still decidin

Hmm.

Qkumba, have you ever tried to place your EQ at the end of the signal chain after the chorus? Perhaps you could also share with us your EQ settings because I'm also a 95Q user, and IMO the tone suck isn't that bad.
