eh anyone know anything about the music and audio tech course in SP?

i read there's only 35 places. and last year COP was 12 points. anyways, i wanna ask you guys, wat are you going to work as after getting the music and audio dip? i want to join but seems like risky cause the industry is small and it might be difficult to find a job after graduation. what are ur views?

ahahaha.man.don go la.gosh.now got so much competition.shant say anything bout that course.but jus know its not wat u think it is.its nothin much to do wit music jus the recording side.one of my frens went and she's gonna dropout cause it was not wat she tot it was.its nothin like lasalles music tech.

well if ure really interested then uve got to take the risk rite? and ull prob have to get outta singapore after uve got ure diploma.

honestly.if im gonna go tht courseim gonna come out go work for a few studios then open mine.This kinda thing is for life.dont jus do it cause u wanna do music.u gotta have passion.its stressful and all.And again.it has not much to do wit the music.reali for this course u gotta have passion.no passion and ur dead.Im prepared to do it for life so im ready for it.are u ready to do it for life?

WTH!? there were loads of people eyeing the DMAT ( audio ) course in my batch. i was 1 of them. now hearing this makes me quite pissed of. The odds of getting in DMAT is 1 out of 16. because the head of the school said that there were 16 people chasing that 1 seat ,during a speech.

The course is good, in a sense that they learn more then the Digital Media people ( my course ) audio wise. They practically have a whole level to themselves. The level includes jamming/recording studios...com labs. My course also got use their facilities la. But they use it more. Besides, im not really a fan of the current DMAT batch anw...ALOT of ppl are starting to hate them because of their behaviour.

Besides if u wanna join, expect competition from people like bani hidir.haha...REMEMBER GUYS, IF JAE NEVER GET THRU( not enuff points), TRY DAE!!! direct admission...

well... its like ngee ann poly's mass comms course... people think they are snobbish because they have 1 of the lowest COPs in the poly and they always wear the latest clothes... some are like that, some ain't... but still it is not right to be sterotypical...

hey u mean u can apply jae and dae together at the same time or after u get rejected by jae then u go apply thorugh dae?

no... JAE first... then if u can't get in use DAE... but DAE depends on score also... some polys don't allow DAE if you have not enough points...

so when u go check and u din make it through jae u go to the school and apply dae ya?isn that too late like in mid march?

DAE is always been last min work... it is really the last resort... but honestly the chances of getting into that kind of course with DAE is really... low...

no... must be really tyco... cause they go by case by case basis... was the same last year...
