A new year, a new committee, and a new Impresario is back.
It’s been just over 7 months since The finalist of Impresario 2007 took the stage at Suntec City, and now the latest edition of Impresario is back once again. Impresario 2008 marked the 16th edition of the premier nationwide talentsearch contest organized by NTU Cultural Activities Club.
After months of preparation in forming a new working committee, planning and laying the groundwork, we are proud to launch the brand New Impresario 2008 website.
Things to look out for this year:
* The ever-present Vocal Solo Category has been reformed. Instead of one vocal category, this year vocal solo is split into the Male category and the Female category.
* Recurring categories include Original Composition, Vocal Group and Modern Dance.
* Newly in this year is the Band category. In the past we have seen bands take part in our vocal group categories, this year however, we have decided to make band a standalone category, and contestants get to receive professional judging by band school judges and special arrangements have been made to hold all band auditions in a specialize band clinic.
* On top of all that, this year we will see more cash and prizes for all our winners and anyone out there who nominates a friend to join our competition stands to win attractive prizes (more details to be out in Nov 07, so stay tune as we are constantly topping up the prizes.)
