another 8 by 8 controller thats looking good, for live and more compact than the apc40

prolly wont be long before some folks be hacking the thing to use monome applications. With the tri colours led, its going to be a light fest.

launchpad is da sek!

outta the box and within ableton live, once the control surface option is chosen, everything will work straight away.

But the best fun, is thru nonome! Most of the monome applications will work with launchpad through nonome, other then few of it that cant really run too well within nonome.

and one of my favourite monome app thru nonome is this one!!

and of course, nothing can beat running the application with the real monome, here!

for another application to run monome apps using launchpad, theres monomeEmu.

With it, theres no need to use max runtime follow by nonome.

Only thing is that it will require ableton live 8.1 and maxforlive.

new version of monomeEmu patch is out with ability to do a pseudo monome256 emulation with one launchpad and workaround method to run 2 launchpads(or maybe more) for monome applications
