noob question about od/dist

hey softies! i have a JnH and Dano eq in my effects chain now.

im wondering which setup would be good

1.dist as rhythm, dano to shape tone, OD as boost (im using this config)

2.od as rhythm, dano to shape tone, dirt as Boost

3.dist as rhythm, OD to shape tone, Dano as boost

i used to use 2 but i switched to 1 recently. actually i dont know whats the diff lol

i think i prefer the sound of 3 but theres always feedback when im not playing.

how would you set your dist to play punk rock music?

drive- - ? oclock
tone - ? oclock
eq - ? oclock

sharp/blunt?

It depends on your tastes.

I would suggest you sit down alone with your guitar, JnH, amp, and dial in the tones you like first. From what I understand the JnH are 2 different gain sections so you should explore and see what you like. One section is TS-based, the other I'm not too sure.

After you dialled a good tone then put in your EQ and tweak to taste.
