Nickel Allergy

Yeap, does anyone have it? I did a patch test and my doc confirmed that I had strong reaction to nickel stuffs. Well, at least only 1 of my fingers itch at times.

I did some research about it on the web and found out that nickel allergy is not a rare thing. So does anyone here share the same experience/misfortune? Or is there any strings out there to help prevent nickel allergy reaction?

i love nickel strings. you can work around it by buying chromes or some other material?

Ya, i do too. We have rich people skin, cannot touch fake metal. LOL! Only pure metal like gold, silver, stainless steel.

But strings wise, for me, i have no problem. In contact with nickel for a few hours is ok.

Guess you can get steel strings then.

tt also means u can only use stainless steel frets.. majority ARE nickel-silver..

if its just itchy just play on...I mean its not like anafalactic*however you spell that * shock
