Hi guys, im a fresh new beginner drummer, just start learning drums last 2 week.

Hence i got my carlos 5pc set and sabian B8 crash set from a friend whose giving up drumming cus band disbanded.

I need to know where and how do i change the drum skin of my drumset.

Sorry, im really newbie here and recently just know of this weebie.

Err, also what is actually a drum head and how do i buy drum skins for all of my toms?

Hi bro, thanks for the help. Much appreciated. However, if you say the drum head is the surface you hit the stick with on the drum, then what is the drums skin?

Im kinda confused between this 2 term. And also what is a lug? I've been on the forum for quite awhile and notice that some threads do have words like lug, i still dunno wads is that

Drum skins and heads are the same i reckon..
u tune with a tuning screw(cheap abt $3) , u tighten or loosen the lug. lugs are those screws u find at the side of the toms/snare.

Drum skins/heads usually range from $25-$50 in swee lee.
Tuning wise u gotta listen what type of sound u wanna get. Tightening the lugs make the sound higher, while loosening it causes the drum skins to loosen. hence lower.
