I use a M-Audio Audiophile 192 into a Behringer mixer for my recording, but it gives me alot of assorted problems.

Something like that..can i still connect it to my mixer? What would the quality of recording be like?
I used to have an Audigy 2 Platinum Pro Ex, and it was so easy to use with the break out box and shit..With my m-audio I cant convert midi into wav, even with a program..fraps does not pick up sound from games when i record a video...just lots of problems. Or is there something similar to the creative with a break out box but better for recording music? Creative seems very geered to good sounding movies and stuff..
Basically i want to be able to:

Record instruments

Convert midi into stuff adn reverse (mainly for exporting guitar pro files into wav..if i do it with my maudio the sound file is just blank)

Easy use..

Thanks

the M-Audio Audiophile 192 is somewhat a pro-audio card for audio recording. that's why it does not have the midi chipset built-in.

i have never used guitar pro and cannot comment if they do send midi out info. if it does, you can connect the M-Audio Audiophile 192 midi out to a synthesizer/sound module and connect the audio out of the synthesizer/sound module back to your 192.

all these might seem complicated but once you get all the connection right, it is just PRESS PLAY.

is ther enothing similar to the creative? Like the emu? Or the Tascam thingy...argh..i mainly want ease of use...the creatiive waw very easy to use....
