New Pedals!!!

one wonders what the 'dry' mode does... normal and bass boost are pretty self explanatory. i'm already thinking of putting some kind of mixer on the effect and dry outs

99 euro is steep boy...

i emailed one of the ebay stores i used to patronise and they told me that ehx has stopped authorized dealers from selling on ebay

looks like i will have to use online stores... any recommendation?

We've already placed our order.

Kindly email sales@ebenex.com if you wish to pre-order. Prices, as you guys should have guessed by now would be similar to US prices + shipping.

Thanks.

may i just ask which pedals? because from what i understand they are releasing 4 new bass pedals at different release dates. though i think they ought to have all been released by mid-july.

and what's the status on the mxr m182 el grande?

http://www.gearwire.com/electroharmonix-bass-big-muff.html

first demo video of the ehx bass big muff. this is fresh from the oven, the article was dated yesterday.

i think this is supposed to sound like the russian big muff, with a kinky new flipswitch which toggles between normal effect, dry and bass.

the 'dry' setting mixes in the dry signal together with the wet signal. but according to talkbass discussions, the amount of dry signal seems to be preset.

the 'bass' setting increases the bottom end

i'm getting the impression that this is bassically the same old muff with a bass boost, and a dry blend, in a box. so logically if you take a big muff pi and put it before an eq pedal, and/or parallel with the dry signal, you will get all the features PLUS more tweakability than the upcoming pedal.

because of this i am tending towards the bass blogger, for its fuzz/distortion switch. i've read on some forums that the 'fuzz' setting is capable of dialling in the big muff tone. the distortion would be a plus for me, as i own (and plan to get rid of) an english muff'n, which produces a tone which cannot be recreated by the big muff pi. i dont think the blogger will recreate the tube warmth but it should at least be good enough to replace my muffn

hey

anyone know where to buy the big muff in singapore? i checked swee lee and penny but i cant find? and which big muff would u recommend? the usa or the russian?
