I tried something new today.
I got no idea what genre is this?
There's abit of funk and rnb style? etc?
I tried to add in some "Japanese" element as Im influence by a Japanese dj, Nujabes.
What do you think of it?

woah nice! i loike! i feel like dancing when i listen to it. a really fun song. you know, how i wish i'd listened to it 2-3 weeks ago when i was busy studying for my semestral exams. would've definitely help to relax me tired mind a little. hahah. bro, i enjoyed it. *thumbs up*

But one thing though, i feel that it is too short. i was hoping that it could go on a little bit more. but that's just me though. keep doing whatever you're doing, bro!

Nice track... could you share more about how you put it together? Loops? software, etc, rig used?

Nice touches with the lo-fi drums and change of key. Guitars sounded good too.

However, with instrumentals, you also wanna try and take it in different directions, and working on teasing the listener's ears with new stuff as the track builds. I find that the main passage gets a bit repetitive.

Also when the passage winds down to a break, the keyboard is kind of hanging there and fades while the drums and the funky guitar play...maybe a bass or alternate guitar passage on top of that.

Thanks FourSling bro. I don't know if im using the correct words or terms. I used Protools which has a instrument plugin called Expand2.

I just use the sound samples from there and created the beats from scratch and looped it. Ya midi, click click mouse for hours.

I try to improve it when Im free. Or maybe I should start something new..

Cool and no worries... certainly on to something here and can build on it. Digital has its downsides but the nice thing is that you can keep at it till you're 200 percent satisfied!
