I just got a yamaha eg112, first time playing guitar.

Learning myself.

A little trouble with fingering, dont know how to go on next note, fingers overlap when changing frets, any guide on this?

Also the tremelo comes with the truss rod inside a plastic bag, how i install them?
Necessary?

Thanks sorry i'm noob

you made my day better

I suggest u start with chords first, there are lots of site with basic open chords with which finger to press with

i could be wrong but i dont think the rod you are talking about is a truss rod, sounds more like a whammy bar to me
to install it simply turn it into the hole on the tremolo

lol why? that's what i see man lol. wait i think i meant there's 2 springs with the tremelo stick. there's a paper saying truss rod i mistook the springs for the rods lol.

hmm what does the chord teach me? i looked around yeah G chord C chord, so? lol

i want to play this
http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/m/muse/unintended_ver2_tab.htm

but agreeing from someone who tried to play, the intro is hard i can't play it.
so i jumped onto the verse part. very good although still sometimes finger never press properly or touched other strings got the tak tak come out.
And i only can play until the first chord D part lol. so it takes less than 5 secs, 3 secs in fact

how do i stop being such a noob.

that's exactly why i'm asking questions.

and for the whammy bar if you prefer to call it, do oyou remove it everytiem finished playing? cos i keep it back into the bag

hey cmon i just found out this site and of course just got a guitar.
so i'm signing up and hope to regular here when i'm better

Hey, stop dissing the poor dude, everyone has their problems when starting out...I thought I had to hit every single string to play a song at first...weird when I look back now, haha...

and yes you take out the whammy bar when you want to keep it. could choose not to though, if something hits the bar the bridge is done for.

gimme an example of when we're dissing the kid.

Like when AzNjT said: STOP being such a Noob damn it.... Dont be so negative, you can do it...

I don't know...maybe I'm just seeing it wrongly...

if you have problems with the whammy bar or just don't know what it does, just leave it out, since you don't know how to use it yet. Better not to break anything, yeah?

yeah bro, i think i better avoid it.

Ok this one major problem, fingers jam on fretting.
If not i should be able to move on to the next note.

After 1 position liao, next one seems like dont know how to go, if leave this finger for another, then that string can't play with that tone. Confuse man
