I think that the Big Muff is bad for metal songs, but i dont know much, havent tried it, just heard samples .. So maybe the metal muff is a good addition ..

I think the Little Big Muff is just a downsized version of the regular Big Muff. But i could be wrong.

interested in the metal muff... wonder what it can do. 8O

The Little Big Muff is marketed as a 70's sounding Big Muff in a nice little diecast box.

The Metal Muff seems to have a lot going on with the 3 band tone controls and a boost function.

Sound wise I'm not sure at all but I'll definitely be bringing some of them in during Mid/End March.

PM me if interested. PM me even if you're not. PM me if you wanna guarantee me that it'll sell like hotcakes and when the pedals arrive you'll dissapear into thin air.

I love PMs. Just PM me!

if the QC is still as lopsided... ugh... good sounding efx but poor quality, makes me want to stay away from EH.

you'll always have local warrantee when you get from me... and so far after so many years dealing with EH,

I had

1) Issues with a batch of the mini Qtron. 5 minutes worth of soldering solved everything.
2) 2 Holy grails and WARRANTIED by EH. Replaced with NEW pedals. Shipping was at MY cost.

and I honestly can't think of others.

The EH reliability issues are way overblown.

Electro-Harmonix spent many months creating what we believe to be the best heavy metal pedal ever built. The Metal Muff utilizes three powerful EQ bands, including a midrange control designed for perfect contouring. Along with beautifully sculpted mids, the Metal Muff offers commanding bass and defined top end—coupled with user-controlled distortion from pinched-edge to totally crushing—making it a heavy metal gold mine.

Features:

· Knob controls include Distortion, Bass, Midrange, Treble, Top Boost and Output volume.

· The unique Top Boost knob allows you to dial in frequencies that center between 3.5 kHz and 4.3 kHz. Add to the edge of a solo or define a powerful rhythm with a single touch of the Metal Muff’s dedicated Top Boost footswitch.

· The Bass has +14 dB of gain centered at 120 Hz; the Midrange has +15 dB of gain centered around 300 Hz; and the Treble has +10dB of gain centered around 1.2 kHz. Distortion has 10 dB of Gain while the output volume has a full +18dB of gain. All controls were designed to interact together for maximum cutting edge and a uniquely powerful distortion.

· Buffered Bypass.

The Metal Muff provides an awesome array of alloys ranging from slithering mercury to molten slag, lead belly to blast furnace dross. Push your pedal to the METAL.

Ehh.... sound similar to the BOSS MT-2 ? it has knobs for EQ too, right ?
