Needs help on pickups decisions..

i like trying to decide between duncan's SH8 and the EMG-85 =\

i really like the pinch harmonics of zakk wylde (EMG-85)

but i also really like the sound of this band called boomerang =\

o yea whats with resonance peak and resonant frequency?

the seymour duncan is better. the EMG is actually a very low output thing but there's batteries inside.... having the batteries inside doesn't mean that it helps ur harmonics to sound better. zakk wylde can produce such good pinch harmonics should have some link to his fingers n his pick n etc. the SH8 is a very high output and synyster gates uses it. haha.

n if u buy the emg bcos a zakk wylde, n nxt time, u gonna change ur idol, r u going to change to another pickup which ur idol uses?

n i dun like weird things on my guitar. the emg looks weird as in, weird.
it's like u got a nice custom guitar like the les paul and u put some black blocks on it. it may sound nice and it is very high technology, but the seymour duncan will be more practical. EMGs pickup are suitable for those black guitars like ESP... KH custom guitar.. if u really wan that zakk wylde sound, get the les paul. it's available @ sweelee BBC. haha jus my 0.02cents....
