Hey Guys,

I am not very new to playing guitar, but I am new to Recording guitar directly to the computer.
I saw some devices which records direct from the amp, like the zoom H4 & H2, yamaha handheld recorders, etc..
but I need something that can be used directly to my laptop without any external devices. I need something easy & not so very techie..hehe

have some questions:

- do u need any external device (ex: toneport, small recorders, etc..)?

- what software do you use?

- do u need special soundcards?

Thanks in advance for those who would like to help. :D
GODBLESS..:)

Get a toneport UX1 or other models. They help to record guitars clearly, but you gotta tweak the tone alot too. :)

cant go wrong with toneport/pod studio.
the pod farm software with the pod studio is easy to use (quite).
great for recording.

I'm using this. It's quite soft when recorded into PC; needs preamp or a vol. boost.
