Need help on MT-2 config

Hi people, I was wondering if anybody here has any good configurations for the MT-2 to play heavy stuff. But the sound I'm trying to get is A7x's kinda sound...

Mmm... It would be a great help to recommend me some basic settings for it? Thanks! :p

I dont think so man. Its an alright pedal if you know how to tweak. Most people do not like the nasal tone of the pedal. A mod will fix that.

=\ Alot of people told me it's good, and another lot told me is bad haha.. But IMO it needs to be tweaked properly I guess, that's the problem, the more I try to find my sound, the messier it gets \o/

MT-2 is a good pedal for heavy stuff, especially chugging rythm playing.
Not that great for leads though.
Taking out one of the capacitors, I can't remember which one, gives you better mids.
When I was using it I always set the Low and Mid Freq to 3 o'clock, High to 12 o'clock, and Middle to 1 or 2 o'clock.
Dist sits somewhere around 2 to 3 o'clock.
This setting rocks my socks .... Lol.

this whole thing is subjective.

it all depends on the rest of your gears. with the correct combination anything can sound right.

theres always the saying
"another man's junk might be another man's treasure"

its all about trial and error, experimenting.
after all music was always about exploring...

as for the tone your looking for, like i said its very subjective.
what may sound a7x to us might sound like ffaf to you.
reasons? different rig, different guitar schematics, different amps, etc etc...

woah.. mt-2 is the worst pedal i have ever encountered for tweaking but tone wise its really not bad if ur looking for a fuzzy dist pedal..
anyway i only have the randy modded one..
i like to put the bass and treble around 3 o'clock, then the dist around 9-12 oclock, then i just tweak between the bass and the volume knobs to get the tone i like.. most likely volume would be at 12oclock, mids at 12 and mid freq at 4oclock or something.. do give it a try :)
hope this helps

super hard to tweak sia this pedal, just give it a few weeks to get used to..
