need help in pedalboard...

hello fellow softies, im thinking of changing my pedalboard carpet flooring. im wondering where i can purchase those velcro-able carpet. and im wondering if they sell it like in one large rectangular size or do i buy those slim strips and lay it on my pedalboard strips by strips. hope someone may be able to help me out on this. thank you.

Home fix.

They sell industrial grade velcro. I think they sell it in strips, and one of the widest ones is about 5 cm wide.

yeap, ive come across those on diy shops like home fix and stuffs. just that now im looking if there's a larger surface area to cover my whole pedalboard in one piece. kinda troublesome if i were to have it strip by strip. anyway, thanks for informing me. :)

if you are looking for carpet to cover your pedal board, ikea is the answer. very cheap too. If i'm not mistaken, it's about $2-3 or so. can't recall cause wifey bought for me on her shopping excursion.

I used 1 1/2 pieces to cover this board with pedaltrain pro specs.
Works well and velcro stays on tight.
:)

If you want adhesive-backed velcro, check out Sin Seng Guan. It's a marine supply company that is located somewhere around the Serangoon area, and they sell it by the foot. I remember it being pretty cheap. If you go for the IKEA carpet, you'll have to glue it to the board yourself, which could be rather messy.
