Is there any way we can retrofit the Bigsby with a tune-o-matic bridge like those on the Les Paul & SG?

Please advise.

u mean a tune o matic and stop bar rite?

for the stop bar .. i think u can't .. because there is no reinforcement under the curve tops .. so u cant install the stop bar like LP has...

but u can consider this

a tailpiece

like the early LP by gibson

So I could use this in place of the Bigsby bridge? Cuz I am probably gonna get it from my friend but I dun really the Bigsby thing jutting out...

That looks neat too. I wanna overhaul the entire bigsby bridge. Somemore the trem arm is so near to the pickup selector switch. Irritating~

If you want to go the wraparound bridge idea - I think you can easily find these bridges in Singapore... maybe Davis? A gotoh part? Just measure the pole distance or bring your guitar down.

That said - It might benefit you to look up on wraparounds... there are some very interesting discussion on what works and what works better. E.g. Intonation issues.

IMO The AM73T(T= Tremolo)

Why dont you get the not Trem Version Or You had something else in mind..

Thing is, I am getting it from my friend who owns the "T" version.

Wrap arounds will be 'wonky' on a hbody btw ...

...go with what eclipse suggested but you will have two holes to fill!!

No... It shouldn't be the case...

LOL... Tempting, but I probably get a simple tailpiece and see how it works... Probably have to try Peninsula or where else can I get those tailpieces? Zen Guitars?
