My DIY drums

i'm newie here.. wanna share my journey to build a diy edrum..

the 1st phase/trial
- brain - winpdrums
- using contact triggered (so many miss-shot)
- aluminum mesh for pads (low noise, but overstringed will increase miss-shot)
- footswitch-like pedal (so far ok, oso if double)

solving missing shots problem

as in my post#1, i'v assemble all the drums since i tested the shots response on a single mesh pad.. assembled on the rack, the missing shot happen especially when rolling.. (it didn't happen on cymbals)
so i test it again (single, not on the rack), the miss shot didn't happen..
i guess i'v to built stiffer rack (current rack all using 1/2" un-glued pvc pipe CLASS D.. lol)
then' i'v also differs each stick input, & its gave more accurate shot (i think, since i'm totally zero with drums playing) as in this utube link

too lazy to move on with the edrum thing, i'v try to build acoustic shell using 2mm bendwood.. for the time being i only successfully built a fullset of a 13" x 6" snare using;

actually, i plan to built drums like TRAPS (narrow shell ~2") but i wanna put resos at the bottom of it.. bcos i wanna a lower volume set since my pearl xport set too loud that i can't play after 10pm.. I'm also have pearl RT, works fine.. but still to loud,... hopefully i wanna set that i can play after 2PM ..

about the traps-like shell, mayb i hav to put more vent.. or is there any suggestions
