Background: Started goofing around with drums early this year, this set got me through yamaha drum book 1 and 2.
Several reasons why i got the DD65 vs Edrums or cheap acoustic drumset to learn on:
1. I was unsure about how committed i would be to drumming so i didn't want to commit on expensive on Edrums. (anything above $500 is ex for me heh)
2. I only get back home at night so acoustic kits would limit my effective playing time, and i have no idea how to tune/maintain drums.
3. Inbuilt metronome, AUX in, Phones out, Midi out without spending a bomb. Could just plug my phone/mp3 player/ipad in and jam away. Headphones too for practicing late at night.
4. Customization on the sounds assigned to the pads. Could set it up 3 piece, leftie, two high hats and switch whenever i liked. Switch the high hat pad to bass pad for double pedals if you wish.
5. Don't have much space in my room so this fits quite nicely without getting in the way.
In summary, it's a great option for aspiring drummers to get down the basics of drumming without breaking the bank.
Selling as i'm moving on to another instrument soon

All pads working and sensitive. Never been abused.

2. Gibraltar snare stand.
9.5/10 condition. Bought in Feb 2011. Mint as can be, no rust or dings.
3. Throwing in a Remo Practice Pad 8" - Free
Condition 8/10. Scratches on the pad, but hey it's free!

4. And Yamaha drum book 1 + CD + other material - Free
Letting go of all that at $380 including delivery, anytime (AM also can, if i'm up.) during the weekend.
