When I moved to singapore my amp stopped working. at the party for my farewell (the night before I flew here) it was working fine becuase i was using it.

When I arrived it worked a tiny bit after jiggling the lead around in the plug thing.

Now I cant get it to work at all, well I sent it away to get fixed by some people and I got it back and it works, but I have to turn it up really loud to be able to hear it, full volume now is like 10% volume before.

does anyone haave any idea what I should do

I cant really afford a new amp and i've been using some stereo speakers with a amp box ontop for microphones and that but my dad doesnt want me using those speakers whn I get my pedal, so i'd have to use my practise amp (its only 15w) but it doesnt work properly.

advice?

cheers

Don't really sound like a simple problem. If you want you can send to me. But if the problem is too serious, it's more worth to get a new amp.

Actually new practise amps are not expensive, can cost under $100 to $200. Should consider than.

I was considering getting a used practise amp for $50-$75, but as I said I've got alot of things I need to buy and not much money.

Used ones more often have some problems as well, commonly noisy POT and poor contact jacks. Something you may have to live, but its cheaper.

About your finances, I think nobody can help you there. So that's not an issue of discussion here. A tip, do some part time work.

yeah im doing some part time work and this amp i have now i bought second hand.

Hmmm how about my pickups, would you be able to mod my guitar to fit double pickups or howmuch would it cost to have these ones rewired becuase my pickups only work on about 2/5 modes on my switch.

That'll depend on what type of guitar you are having now. I suspect may need to replace the selector switch as well. Just bring your stuffs down and I can check out for you. Will quote you on the spot. Just click on the WWW below for my particulars.
