have you ever stepped into a guitar shop, and you ask for a particular model and they have it but it's not displayed on the rack but in their store/warehouse in another room, they tell you have to PAY FIRST before you can try? encountered such rubbish before?

huh? once you let them swipe the card and you sign, your money is effectively gone. you cannot back out of the transaction, you have to pay the credit card bill and all items charged according to the card holder's agreement because you signed for the purchase.

that's true... it's such a shame really.. ever heard the horror service stories of people dressed up in berms, tshirt and slippers going to paragon and being treated like dirt by the sales staff there? and they have no idea these berm/tshirt/slipper guys are the really rich people who live in/around orchard road (think: very rich) therefore the "shabby" and "can't be bothered to dress up" dressing.
