You know. I almost thought they'd totally forgot about it already. I asked for a Musicman S.U.B. after I saw it at Davis like last year? I asked if they had more and they said they were ordering it and it should come Jan 2005. Week after week, month after month, waited, uptill end Jan 2005 no news, and Davis crew was indifferent, as though I hadn't asked. It pissed me off quite a lot and so I went over to Sinamex and bought a Sterling. It was the last one they had there, so I took it home straight.

I guess I'm happy with it. I'm just feeling a bit crappy since I'm still broke. :roll:

Sterling price

Yeah, I got the Green one. I think other colours would have looked better. Oh well.

It was a whopping $2100 I forked up there, and I'm still broke. Hahahaha. Serves me right huh?

Actually last time I went by Sinamex I saw this vintage woody coloured Stingray there. Looked beautiful.

2100 ? bloody hell ,.. tts cheap when compared to US prices after shipping and GST . 2100 total amt inclduing GST ? tts really worth it u know bro ... u got a pretty good deal

hmmz everytime i drop by sinamex seems to be closed ... haha no opportunity for me to enquire about stingrays and sterlings

Music Man is actually not doing real justice to the SUB Sterling by calling it a 'Sterling'- it isn't one by virtue of the tone & feel, just the looks. like the original SUB bass isn't a Stingray replica, feel & tone-wise. with this in mind, we need to remind ourselves that none of the SUB series are cheap versions of the original models.

Sorry 4 the late reply, haven't been checking the forum lately... I'm not sure, I can email him to ask... however, from my memory, it looks like an Ibanez AR300, except it doesn't have any markers on the fretboard. Rex told me that he doesn't like markers...

There might have been some fancy inlay on the 12 fret though... does any models come to mind?
