Guys, meeting with the SA officer, Mr Han, has been set for this Wednesday 5.00pm. I told him not all of us will be going to see him, most likely a few of us will represent the group. Otherwise, it will be quite scary, like a mob... pls dun ask me for the attire....shirt and tie :mrgreen: JK!

Ahh finally the SA officer!!!
Woohoo come on down too bro. I've printed out the papers already, now left for all u guys to check, add, edit and sign your names on the papers and off we go meet the officer!!

We met the SA officer and he said that we need to be recognized first before the CCA is granted.... What is meant by getting recognized? It means that we need to perform in events, regardless of whether the event is in school or outside. The next event we are going to perform is at open house in NYP. Anybody out there wanna perform? I want to...

Ok the real fact is, the SA officer said we cannot really start the CCA without showing anything or getting recognized first. He cannot even have us our own room yet because there's too many other CCAs. Don't talk about equipments luhh because there's nothing he can do for now.
What he thinks that might help is that, to start off, we should start to publicise our CCA first. Especially in terms performance. When they see us as potentials, then slowly they will help us form the CCA. One of the promise he made to us is that he will try his best to slot us in during the Open House performance. That will be our shot to initialise our CCA. For the time being, you guys can form a band WITHIN THE NYP CAMPUS and play in gigs either official ones or not. Just get yourself some experiences before next year.
And when you're(band) ready, let me know about your band details.
I need to choose the top 2-3 bands or more just to represent our CCA during the open house. It will be a great honour to do so.

Hmm maybe all of us are disappointed with what the SA officer told us, but hey, he didn't say the CCA won't be able to establish.
Come on guys, all i need is you guys to believe that this thing can work.
I'm holding a meeting next week to help you guys form bands to represent our CCA during the School Open House in January next year. Choose your members wisely, because only the best bands wil represent us sorry.
I will do meeting on Wed but at 3.30pm onwards. Venue is to be confirmed.
I wanna keep track for those who already have a band in NYP and also register you guys for that particular event.
So yeah, do come ait?
