^ sorry boss. But I'm not exactly the typical singaporean teen... who incidentally might not be able to give you a sraight answer. But it was a personal observation on the listening tastes of today's typical singaporean teen.

19/M/Chinese. Listens to folk, country, rock, pop, bluegrass. Main exposure to mainstream music is from 21-year-old brother whose buying power and listening tastes enable him to be the ultimate top-40s whore.

Hm. Not to stereotype but near all my teen friends listen to emocore, emo, chinese pop(esp those on channel U) and most commonly 98.7

im 15. my friends all like emo la and maybe a little punkish kinda bands. like.. tbs, mae, saosin, copeland, early november, hawthorne heights, used, deathcab ya you get the drift. and some of them think it's cool to listen to 'hardcore bands' like trivium a7x.

i guess as long as the song is catchy and the band is 'cool' most teenagers will like them. and 98.7 is starting to play more and more bands they didnt use to play. like um tbs. and panic!. falloutboy too.
