MULTI EFX

I think this question may have been asked before. But I'm thinking of getting one (probably around Christmas time, when I think I might have some chump change for it).

But here's my question:


I'm not going to ask what's best becos everyone has difference preference, so instead, it's going to be: Which multi-efx do you softies out there like? And why?

I personally want something that can give me nice modulations that will complement my stomp boxes (overdrive, chorus). And no, I don't mind digital sounds, as opposed to analog, except maybe the overdrives!

But I'd like to hear from you guys what your preferences are, your experiences are using MFX? For instance, I seem to gather that many don't like ZOOM or the ME series from BOSS but pref GT series or Korg Toneworks?

Any ideas?

T.C Electronic G system. if youre looking PURELY at modulations. :lol: but thats like 2.5k which i suppose is out of budget.

but seriousy, im digging the boss GT series, killer mfx to me.

Well, i think the Line 6 pods are quite ok. Grab yourself an XTLive at the citymusic sale(end year should have) or a GT8 at the End year sweelee sale.

but other than that, i think GTs are the best, just a lil pricey, about 500-600+ brand new..

well, I've no idea what they actually cost, but I've been told roughly around 500 bucks right? So I'm basing my budget around that. Hopefully will be able to get that amt by year's end/
