haha i dint get your +1 leh :) but nvm yeah thats rather true.

vai and satch are kinda similar in the sense since they both like the whammy bar and lydian scales but they are very different from the way the approach their compositions.

Oh and Alex Skolwick from Testament and Charlie Hunter(a jazz fusion player) was taught by Satch too. just FYI.
 
i wanna be taught by satch too! my friend's close friend's uncle is satch. hahah

Wes Borland is a great guitarist, and very underrated cause he focuses on composition rather than mindless wankery. Not that wankery makes people overrated though :)

Yeah, I'm seeing that too. Should be titled "Most Overrated/Underrated Guitarist" then it will be fair to both sides. :D

overrated or underrated, at the end of the day be it for the right or wrong reasons, their names are still known to people... peace...
