Moggie need help in choosing speaker

Ok guys.. Here's the deal.. I have a budget of $60.. I'm confused of choosing either one of these two speaker that I found out at challenger near Tampines Mrt..

Altec Lansing 121i

Creative SBS 2.1 370

Hmm.. Altec lansing seems to have a better sounds whereas Creative have a 1 year limited warranty.. So how guys?? Please help me.. :?

i think both wont disappoint u, as in wont give u those kind of china brand trebleish sound or muffled muffled one, so if same price, maybe get creative lor, cos got warranty...then again, speakers hardly, or never ever break down do they? So altec lansing may be the better buy since u say it sounds better.

Dun get the 121i ... I had a bad experience with it, the wires are "clipped on" and not plugged in...
sometimes I could only hear the left speaker and sometimes only the right speaker works..

I actually bought the Creative. Its for my PC. It absolutely sucks. For speakers u need to splurge above $100 if you wanna a good one to listen to music and gaming purposes.

I use the altec lansing XA3051(those you always see with Xbox) 5.1 speakers. IMO, these speakers are real good, very clear, low tight bass, treble not too sharp. I went to sim lim to hear all the speakers in the price range and to me this is the best. the 2.1 version cost arnd 140 if im not wrong, save up for it, real good speakers(for computer). Try not to get those with whatever aluminium/titatnium crap drivers, to me, those too much treble, and creative too, dont get them overrated.

Hmm.. I can't find it at the web.. How about this speaker?? Is it good?? The price list is at $79.. The functions are quite good too..

Basicaly, if U were to walk ard SLS, U can see the whole array of speakers at any major shops down there..

As for me, anything 2.1 and below, I'll take Altec Lansing. Above 2.1, its Creative for me.
