mod a hardtail with a whammy?

been thinking for a really long time whether i should mod my telecaster with a tremolo.

i thought of using a tremking tk-3 (my tele's a HS).

would the tone and sustain of my guitar get really butchered or wat, after routing? i asked the peeps at tremking and they told me that they received feedback that their guitars still get good tone and sustain even after routing. cos its fixed bridge. haha

and is it worth the money?

yeap. but if i were to consider looks, i guess this is a no. haha.
im using a squier obey tele. one with all the weird images as the finish. a bigsby would look rather redundant with all those. haha

no dive bombs. just an ordinary tremolo bridge. but if u were to put sustain into the picture, the bigsby really does wonders.
