Anyone heard of this guitar? The minarik Lotus guitar

From Minarik Website

This is the most technicaly "perfect" single cut-away guitar on the market. The traditional single cut-away guitar is severly lacking in left-side surface area used to grab and articulate low-end frequency response. By incorporating Minarik Guitars Patented"Tone tail" engineering on the bottom of the body, and adding an additional tail on the upper left bout, the frequency problems with the traditional single cut-away guitar have been "corrected". The cut-away has been sharpened and enhanced to tie in with the two other "points" on the body, giving this guitar that signature "minarik" design style.

Hi there, I'm the distributer for Minarik Guitars in Singapore. Didn't know there was a thread going on about the Lotus. Well it's a great player and looker. In fact I have sold quite a few already to students and professionals and they all love the look and playability. The Lotus is really superb value at S$700.

I agree some of the designs are really out there! But those looking for something different and showy will love them. I'm talking about the Inferno/Cherub, Mirrorball and Medusa of course:) Minarik Guitars take pride in the fact that they make beautiful guitars.

Do check out Minarik Guitars for more gorgeous guitars.

call me old fart but i have issues with their marketing blurb... and also the shape but each to his own man....

The only one i can see myself using is the Halo from the super custom series. But no doubt those guitars sound really good and the playability might be killer too.

this one is easy on the eyes.

Tom, are you a dealer for Dano as well?

Edder, the Lotus antique creme, yes a popular colour and easier on the palate. It's like buying a white car, sure look good:)

I'm not a Dano dealer as I don't really fancy the current reissues. I like the first reissues much better as they look so much nicer and according to many posts, also play much better too.

the lotus' price and specs really look good...
not to mention the finishes. i'm not a les paul person but this may be the single cutaway for me..

yeah man i must.. but not much $$$ at this time..
just wanna know, being <1k, are lotuses made in usa??

Keith the Lotus is Made in China. I have not come across a Made in the USA guitar that's less than S$2000. Have you? But don't let that put you off. Try it out for size:) It's pretty fierce..
