it's hot in the news, a JI detainee escaped the Whitley Rd detention centre, now on the run. we'd question how this was possible given the meticulous security practices here. maybe inside job..?

yeah... saw the news and its kind of funny.
i remembered there's this 1 time a detainee escaped from queenstown remand.
but was captured like half a day.
i got feel inside job.
coz there should be a number of plainclothes 'accompany' him from place to place. tat is sure hard to escape. and his a JI summore. sure got a lot.
the question is, how did he manage to run away? no1 see?
i am reli surprised with tis news. if they can do a good job wif the security such as IMF and such... how come tis thing can happen

i read the papers this morning, it clarifies how tight the security is at the detention centre.
like hello? no point telling us now. he's already out there somewhere.
he might already be at pasir ris for god's sake.

they locked the main door and set up the "door-alarm" system.

Here are some facts -
1) He's a 45 year old man
2) He walks with a limp
3) The Home Minister said he escaped (from a high security detention centre no less) when he was allowed to go to the gents during family visitation hours.
4) The Home Minister apologised for the 'security lapse' and assured that the escapee is not a threat to the public.
5) It's been almost a day since he escaped but no capture yet
Personally, I don't think it's an inside job cos I don't think our civil surfers here are that brave to do this kind of thing.
Anyway, here's a picture of the latest pursuit of the escapee by SPF.
