MID YEAR SALE! ONE DAY ONLY!

was @ swee lee warehouse yesterday to check out some stuff prior to the sale. it seems that the chances of me grabbing my desired item is next to zilch, considering i'd be there after work (after 1pm... pathetic). anyway, i'd like to entice the SOFTies here on the products to grab on SALE day... 8)

the superb LU20 is available...

Someone must be praying very hard - GST Rebate money has been credited into my account. Please check yours 8)

I think I will pop by there after work to do the ol' look-see.

It's times like these that I REALLY hate working on saturdays.

All the best on getting what you guys want!

we're rather fortunate that 1st July falls on a Sunday which is a non-banking day. naturally, the day before would be the day all credit/ debit would be done. but in this case it's a Saturday, which is also a non-banking day for many banks 8)

back to product recommendations: guitar-wise, the 2005 Fender Highway1s are still available, it's absolutely worthy of you Fender fans...

RG370- recommended mid-priced Ibanez if this is your first (especially when you've always wanted a dual-action bridge)

which brand?

for Fender, those 60th Anniversary models are really worth the money BUT, the last time there was a sale, they were NOT subjected to 50% off so i'm not advocating them in this light.

Ooh, I see , thanks for the heads-up!

I dunno man, if i were to be there( I have jam in the afternnon), I'll just walk around and see whatever grabs my attention lah, I could just walk away with a set of picks or strings, or maybe if the mood/price is right, maybe a Gibson or Fender lar.

Good deals are hard to come by! :D

money's worth is where the heart's at...just too bad for me cos I don't think I appreciate the mid-priced stuff as much as many of you here do.

I remember you scored an awesome red wine gibson something something a few SL sales ago. man...you're lucky :D

on that note, please post the pics of all your previous TROPHIES from their sale over the years man,i need that sort of impetus to make me believe in Sales of this sort all over again :D .HEHEH

hey guys, just wondering. is the sale only for guitars on the shelf or can u ask the staff if they have other guitars kept inside.. etc..

sorry just a question i wanted to find out..

is the 50% discount applying to the listing price of items or the price after they have already been discounted. Because swee lee always prices its products lower than the price tag you see there, so maybe 50% isnt alot after all. maybe you get 10% discount...

snuff: pics would come later... not too enthusiastic about LPs but that wine red LP i got was one of the many LPs i tried over time, which is actually appealing.

Mon29: it lists for as much as a regular Epi LP Custom. how much exactly? refer to swee lee's homepage... 8)

rooster: i didn't see any humbucker equipped H1 strat, they are all SSS models in both maple & rosewwood fretboard versions. the H1 strats are equipped with an HSS cavity underneath that pickguard, even for SSS models, sohuld you have plans to swap pickups subsequently.

general announcement: to avoid any confusion by other parties who advocate certain discount formula for this sale, it's 50% off the tagged price. when you enter the store, whatever price you see tagged/ pasted/ tied to the item, it's 50% off, unless otherwise stated.
