Metal in Singapore's Society...

One thing's for sure. Metallica sure inspired alot of current musicians and metalheads in the global scene today. What they did was truly remarkable and a landmark in music culture, I believe.

I guess, music goes beyond eyeliner, tight bleached jeans and long hair. But I have to say that Trivium's old album appeals to me much more than the new one.

but about Metallica,dudes! u cnt call Metallica gay!! thats Blasphemous! and yes the new kids that like Metallica due to Trivium,it aint that bad,coz they're digging up the past and u're bound to find one or two or a handful that are really true to the metal genre..

St Anger wasnt their shot to greatness rite? so dun judge Metallica by St Anger,they're still great,think about the great songs they have written rather than a bump they met in the road.and to think that they still play their old music,that as much evidence that this IS the metallica that brought u the greatness of The Black Album and all those old albums...

Wtf? You can come up with songs as good as them? Oh soryy! their songs must be damn easy because they come up with it within a few seconds i assume.. and it doesn't sound good..Dude, firstly people have diff taste,secondly..you must be a fake to critic musicians..huh..Nothing new anyway whatever..A guy who wears pink tees can be more serious and talented than a goth..who knows.

You know in their old albums, he used to switch from gore to gay vocals at a snap of his fingers? He couldn't pull that off live... Kinda painful... Watching him, of course..

I caught Savage Messiah's performance at Gas Haus, which gig I can't recall. I did think that they pulled off a pretty fine performance.
