okay here's what i know...the folks down at CAP think that a metalfest in RP would pose a logistic problem. they would rather have it next year actually! furthermore, the JA equipment has just been moved, along with other things, to the RPCC, so that would pose another problem if the gig were to happen very soon.

Justaphase might just have a point there....
Insider info : During these few months there will be lots of VIPs coming to RP on special visits. Not to mention the JAE appeal event which is to be held from 6-8 march. As you should know , having a JAE appeal means having tons of students coming to your school requesting for appeal and therefore I won't be surprised that it might pose a logistic nightmare.
These major events taking place over the next few months might make the estate people hesitant in holding a gig as like what Justaphase has just said , it could indeed pose a logistics nightmare and besides if I were to compare a JAE appeal event and a metal gig in terms of experiencing a logistics nightmare , I would rather experience one for the JAE appeal event because its by government order and I have no choice but to comply wherealse the metal gig can wait. This is what I feel.

totally atrocious. It's time s'poreans accept sumthin different else besides commercial stuffs.
IMO, these people don't listen to the music. They merely pay attention to the LOOKS of the artistes. 'AHHHH SO CUTE SO SHUAI OMGG!!' and not 'DAMN the music's tight'

LOL thanks for the encouragement. I am kind of a sick of waiting for the school to answer me. They are not bold enough to give a go, and not great enough to let it go at once... I might prolly get it out somewhere, but i hope not some small squeezy places...no, i mean, shud not be in a small space.
